Important Season Update
It is with regret that I inform you that due to unforeseen delays in cooperation with the local council for Club9, we are unable to meet our expected timelines. Consequently, we must conclude the current season and prepare for the upcoming one for those who wish to participate.
I want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly. I have been working tirelessly to accommodate the teams at the new club, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control prevail. I understand and share your desire for certainty and stability, and I am genuinely sorry that we could not deliver as planned.
Despite this setback, I am confident that we will return stronger and better once the club opens its doors. Our community has endured significant challenges, from the closure of Tenpin City to the loss of our dear friend Marvin. Yet, our resilience and camaraderie have always seen us through.
In light of the current situation, we will be hosting the Diamond League Las Vegas Showdown at the Gallipoli Club in Hamilton on 4 Diamond Tables from June 29-30. All twenty-one teams have been invited to compete, with the Newcastle team, The Leftovers, securing the number one seed spot based on the final ladder standings. Congratulations to The Leftovers for their outstanding performance! Additionally, well done to the Sharpshooters for securing the number two seed, narrowly missing the top spot by only three points.
This season, we are adding a cash bonus for the two undefeated teams in the final four that qualify for the single elimination stage of the finals. Additionally, to ensure fairness, we have removed the random draw aspect.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. I look forward to seeing you all at the Gallipoli Club and to the exciting competition ahead.

Regular Season runs for 16 weeks plus Finals.
The Diamond League is for ANY players who want to participate in a competitive league structure. Using our proprietary grading and scoring system, teams only score points by winning games, not by potting balls. While players are graded, there is no match handicap in this league, all teams will play off scratch, but there are limits to team rosters.
The scoring system supports lower-graded players and puts more pressure on the better players to perform in an environment that actively supports player improvement. Keep an eye on your BCAPL Scoring App and FargoRate App for schedules and updates.

Also, further congratulations to Team Marvin's Crew - Shaun Oglesby, David Gardner, John McDermott and Team Just a Few - Maghmud Sadien, Terry Dumont, Simon Felice, Nathaniel Hide (Lisa Milne) for making it to the semi-finals. Good Morning Players. Here is the draw for the Las Vegas Showdown 2024. digitalpool.com/tournaments/diamond-league-las-vegas-showdown-december-2024/viewerPlease note that there are 2 PRE MATCHES that will have been completed by the time we start the main event on the Saturday morning. These matches were officiated by the Player Rep to ensure everything ran without incident. All the payouts are on the bracket for the teams. Pinar will be running the Saturday's matches and I will come down on the Sunday. All tables will be assigned randomly by the AWAY Team Captain picking a random card for the table assignment. The Home team is the higher seeded team (the number next to the team name on the bracket), the benefit of the results throughout the season. All matches have a time clock of 3 hours that was mentioned before, so please keep this in mind when your team is playing. If your team is asked to play on EXTRA tables to help maintain the schedule, you are required to do so without comment. If the match clock expires, the team in front will be awarded the win and progress, however if the result of the current frame will determine a winner, then the frame will be completed. In the UNLIKELY event its a draw, we will move to Scotch Triples to determine who wins in the event of the match clock expiring. If the match ends in a draw (before time expires), we also will move to Scotch Triples to determine a winner. Please arrange your green fees in a timely manner with Pinar and Kellie. Also Diamond League Jerseys are mandatory and will have a penalty imposed (loss of the 10 ball with a BR awarded to the opponent) Don't be that person...Good luck to all the teams, will it be a Sydney or Newcastle team to hoist the trophy? Diamond League Shield winners for season 24!The Diamond League Sheild was hosted yesterday at Moorebank Hotel for Season 24.All matches contested were nail bitingly close matches and always appeared to come down to the wire with Marquee games. These close results demonstrate the Diamond League format, scoring and players FargoRates are consistently accurate which is a testimony to the system being regarded by many as the best.Throughout the day we saw many close games, near misses and and teams fighting hard to make it through the next step of the single elimination format.Congratulations to Bent Cues for taking out the title pocketting $2400 against Bank Shots pickedup $1200. The game was very close the whole way and came down to the Marquee and the last few balls on the table to determine the winner with an end score of 97 to 99.Special mentions to Rack City and Rack Em Up who came in 3rd and 4th for the tournament and fought a good fight till the end. I want to congratulate all players and teams for a great day and for participating in the event and our Newcastle teams for making the trip down to Sydney to battle it out in the shield. It is always great to see everyone together and catch up with our broader teams.
