Important Season Update
It is with regret that I inform you that due to unforeseen delays in cooperation with the local council for Club9, we are unable to meet our expected timelines. Consequently, we must conclude the current season and prepare for the upcoming one for those who wish to participate.
I want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly. I have been working tirelessly to accommodate the teams at the new club, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control prevail. I understand and share your desire for certainty and stability, and I am genuinely sorry that we could not deliver as planned.
Despite this setback, I am confident that we will return stronger and better once the club opens its doors. Our community has endured significant challenges, from the closure of Tenpin City to the loss of our dear friend Marvin. Yet, our resilience and camaraderie have always seen us through.
In light of the current situation, we will be hosting the Diamond League Las Vegas Showdown at the Gallipoli Club in Hamilton on 4 Diamond Tables from June 29-30. All twenty-one teams have been invited to compete, with the Newcastle team, The Leftovers, securing the number one seed spot based on the final ladder standings. Congratulations to The Leftovers for their outstanding performance! Additionally, well done to the Sharpshooters for securing the number two seed, narrowly missing the top spot by only three points.
This season, we are adding a cash bonus for the two undefeated teams in the final four that qualify for the single elimination stage of the finals. Additionally, to ensure fairness, we have removed the random draw aspect.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. I look forward to seeing you all at the Gallipoli Club and to the exciting competition ahead.

Regular Season runs for 16 weeks plus Finals.
The Diamond League is for ANY players who want to participate in a competitive league structure. Using our proprietary grading and scoring system, teams only score points by winning games, not by potting balls. While players are graded, there is no match handicap in this league, all teams will play off scratch, but there are limits to team rosters.
The scoring system supports lower-graded players and puts more pressure on the better players to perform in an environment that actively supports player improvement. Keep an eye on your BCAPL Scoring App and FargoRate App for schedules and updates.

An up to date Grand Ladder will be provided on Monday 4th Nov with Rd15 results. This helps all teams know what's at stake in the final round of the regular season, especially the top 16 teams vying for the Las Vegas Showdown. Sheriff
Diamond League Shield update.This event will be held at Moorebank Hotel on Saturday 23rd November. The bottom 10 teams from the grand ladder will be invited to attend. This will be single elimination event and the green fee will be reduced to only $30/team.Please let your player rep know if you can attend and I apologise for the shorter than normal notice, unfortunately it took a while to obtain a commitment from the venue. Good evening Diamond League players.Apologies for the delay in getting this comms out, I've been a bit busy. However it's best to provide some advance information so you can plan accordingly.The finals for the Diamond League 2024 will be hosted at the Gallipoli Club on Saturday 7th Dec and Sunday 8th December.The finals will be the top 16 teams from a combination of Sydney and Newcastle teams based on the grand ladder. We are trying to resolve a couple of scoring issues that will affect the ladder results and hope to have this sorted soon and provide a grand ladder.Normal finals procedures apply, green fees and team jerseys apply.If you need players to fill in for your team, please refer to the rules, but the main rule is no one above 499 FargoRate can be used for the finals as a substitute.The format will be Double Elimination until the final 4 teams where it becomes knockout. The final 4 will be 2 winners vs 2 losers side matches. Prize fund will be announced soon. The other 10 teams will be invited to play the Diamond League Shield at a later date, format and location to be confirmed.Unfortunately we wont be able to host the finals at the new venue until 2025, we will keep you posted about this. Diamond League Update:I know many of you are eager to find out when the finals for this season will take place. Unfortunately, I can't provide a concrete date at this moment due to delays in the opening of Club 9 in Sydney. Just to clarify, the player reps don’t have any information on this, so there’s no need to reach out to them—they will know when I know.Believe me, I’m as frustrated as you are. Club 9 is ready to go, but circumstances beyond our control keep pushing things back. I hope to have more information for the community by the end of September, and I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.This project hasn’t been easy to get off the ground, and I want to assure you that I’m not ignoring the concerns of the community. I just have a lot on my plate with APPA, Heyball, CueWorld, Club9, the WPA, and yes—some time for myself too!Rest assured, when we have an estimated timeframe for the opening of the club, you will all be informed.As for the finals, after discussions with my organizing team, we’ve decided that the Top 16 Teams from the GRAND Ladder will be invited to the Las Vegas Showdown. The remaining 10 Teams will compete in the Diamond League Shield. Prize funds will be announced at the end of September.The regular season ends on Thursday, November 7th, 2024. So, in THEORY, we’re aiming for finals a couple of weeks after that, but that depends on many factors coming together. No dates are set at this point.As always, my door is open. Hey Omid. We normally provide a grand ladder 4 weeks out form the end of the season. As we head into Rd 8 the 50% mark we will pull one together and send that through.
